Science research students at Weber medaled in 26 events at the recent Western Nassau Long Island Regional Science Olympiad held at Levittown’s Wisdom Lane Middle School.

Weber’s impressive showing qualified the school to send a team to the New York State Science Olympiad Tournament, which will be held April 8 to 9 at East Syracuse-Minoa Central High School. Among the 26 awards were first-place honors in six different categories.

Congratulations to the 30 students in grades six to eight who participated, and coaches Dr. Helen Hatzignatiou, Kenneth Justiniano, CarrieAnn Lindstadt-Iurka and JoAnn Suk.
