Show At Graphic Eye

Gallery_021815A The Graphic Eye Gallery is currently showing a color-filled exhibit, “Artists Invite Artists.” For this show, each gallery member invited a non-member artist to display work in the gallery. Members’ and guests’ works are hung adjacent to each other, inviting onlookers to compare and contrast different styles and approaches to subject matter. Watercolor, acrylic, ink, graphite and handmade paper are just a few of the various media on view.

The Graphic Eye Gallery has been open for over forty years. There’s never an admission fee or pressure to buy – just come and enjoy, its proprieters say.

Also, if you (or anyone you know) may be interested in joining the gallery, the Graphic Eye is seeking new members.

“Artists Invite Artists” will be on view through March 29.

The gallery is located at 402 Main St., (diagonally across from Louie’s Restaurant).

Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 1-5 p.m. The phone number is 516-883-9668.
