On Wednesday, March 30, 30 seniors from the Port Washington Senior Citizens Center went to Hunterdon Playhouse in Hampton, NJ. The day started with a breakfast of muffins and juice for the bus ride, generously provided by the Dime Savings Bank (1000 Port Washington Blvd.), followed by a bus ride where they watched movies and played bingo. At Hunterdon, they enjoyed a delicious lunch with a terrific dessert buffet, and then a hilarious show called Spreading it Around. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time.
Some trips coming up for the summer include a boat ride to City Island Lobster House, a bus to Westbury Gardens with lunch and Oktoberfest at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant.
