Port Washington’s resident artist Renee Bundi will be one of the talented artists in the Chezar Art Studio’s Annual Art Show. It will take place at the Jericho Public Library during the month of November. Renee Bundi, marketing director for Chezar Art Studio, graduated from St. John’s University with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and earned an MFA in Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.Renee is a tablet app designer and producer in New York City and has worked with companies such as Time Inc. and Conde Nast. She has received awards and honors in graphic design, including the gold, silver and bronze awards at the Ozzie Awards; Desi Awards with the Art Directors Club and certificates of merit for Print Magazine in Regional Design Annuals with the Society of Publication Designers. She is a member of Society of Publication Designers and the Art Director’s Club and the American Society of Business Press Editors.
The Port Washington resident likes to paint in oils and is trying her hand with acrylics. She has painted landscapes and also enjoys working in a surrealist and abstract style. She worked on figure studies with her teacher, Sheila Chezar Hershkowitz.
