Piano Recital At Library


SPREADSTORYl122315ANEWThe annual piano recital on Dec. 15 was held in the Port Washington Library, led by pianist-teacher Ms. Paner Ying. The pianists were ages 5 to 15 and they all performed from memory. The selections were from well-known pieces by Bach, Chopin, Liszt and Schumann, in addition to pop hits, broadway musicals and jazz music as well. The boys and girls captured the audience with musicianship and skills. Eleven of them were first time-performers and some have had at least 10 years of performing experience. It was a magical afternoon.

The pianists were: Matthew Masia, Lily Salit, Sofia Leder, Elijah Santos, Anna Regan, Gabriella Petrunoff, Caroline Keefe, Dylan O’Sullivan, Abby Trenaman, Alexa Benun, Gabriel Santos, Brian Barr, Indigo Girtz, Lia Sfiroudis, Ryan Regan, Ben Salit, Aaron Salit, Anthony Sfiroudis, Sadie Muller, Ian Laurence, Hunter Trenaman, Liam Regan, Ellie Wang, Sam Sherman, Sophia Sfiroudis, Ethan Girtz, Meiling Laurence, Melanie Genzano, Alexa Petrunoff, Ryan Milcetic, Dylan Trenaman, Emma Wang, Kevin Carl, Jordan Monaco, Jackson Trenaman, Danielle Petrunoff,
