The Port Washington News shines a spotlight on local business owners:
Meet Kaitlin Puglisi, 31, owner of Good Things Skate Shop
When did this store open?
What are some of your biggest sellers?
“A lot of people come in wanting skateboard accessories, like wheels and trucks,” Puglisi said. “A lot of people come in wanting longboards that have already been assembled.”
What was the most unusual thing a customer has ever ordered?
“One guy’s wife came in wanting to buy her husband a [skateboard] deck with this specific type of [grip] tape,” Puglisi said, holding up a sheet of DGK-brand tape with a rather racy image.
It’s hard to find well-informed people in this particular topic,
but you seem like you know what you’re talking about!
