Long Island restaurants, bakeries and food purveyors are helping the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Buttercooky Bakery is making lots of 3-inch cookie with a white glaze and pink ribbon. All proceeds will be donated to the program.
Kyma

Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sale of Kyma’s refreshing Kymatini cocktail (masticha liquor, cucumber vodka, mint, lemon juice and a splash of soda) will be donated, with a guarantee of a MINIMUM donation of $500.

The “food is your healer” menu at LL Dent is prepared with foods rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting agents: sweet potato soup, salmon, spicy black eye peas, meatless collard greens and soursop ice cream will be prepared for $35. Fifty percent is donated to the breast cancer program.
