Port North third grade basketball team

The Port North third grade basketball team moved to 2-0 despite losing Dylan Reyes shortly before tip off with a 29-11 win over True Ballerz. The team was led by Malachi Miller and the scoring of Danny Dayan, Carter Dean, Kaedon Brown and Shane Dillon. The boards were handled by Andrew Blake, Adrian Restivo and Deven Makhijani. Backcourt play from Luca Paradisi and DJ Thompson was strong. This young team looked sharp.

The Port North fifth graders overcame early injuries to John Spinoso, Jack Rothenberg and Cole Reyes to reach the midpoint of the season at 4-0. The team defeated Nassau Pride, 101 hoops, St Agnes and Port Vikings in decisive fashion. The group of Ken Daly, JJ Eoanidis, Matt Huszar, Alec Hartstein, Max Einbender, Jordan Golan and the three Ryans (Abend, Shanahan and Kieblesz) have played some excellent basketball.
