Kiwanis Dishes Up Breakfast

The Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis Club served up pancakes, bacon, sausage and beverages like coffee, tea and juice in the Schreiber High School cafeteria on April 15 with the Schreiber High School Key Club.

All proceeds benefited the Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington, a nonprofit organization that seeks to help children and families wherever the need presents itself, such as scholarships for local graduating seniors, summer camp programs for needy children (Kamp Kiwanis), drug and alcohol awareness programs and anti-bullying programs. The club supports and provides volunteer hours to the Ronald McDonald House, the Helen Keller Center and the Salvation Army.
