Fun Day Monday Canceled July 25


fundayNorth Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth announced today that the Town’s FunDay Monday scheduled for today, July 25 has been canceled due to high heat warnings.

The Senior Health, Education and Information Fair, scheduled to take place on July 25, has not been rescheduled to August 1.  The town will still offer free admission to North Hempstead Beach Park for seniors on July 25.

“While canceling Town events is a difficult decision, we believe it is best for our hundreds of seniors who attend Funday Monday,” Supervisor Bosworth said.
