    Understanding World Events through Our Changing Agriculture. The library’s Health Advisory Council hosts consumer food educator Gary Feldman at the library at 7:30 p.m. Feldman, who is involved with public education on genetically modified food, focuses on the powerful world of biotechnology and the global ideology behind the creation of “new food.” Learn the direct connection between the disappearance of bees, butterflies, declining farms and forests, food shortages, extreme weather—and who owns the world’s food supply.
