Christopher James Vigren

Former Port Washington resident Christopher James Vigren, 58, of Pittsfield, MA, died Sunday at his home.

Born in Queens, Oct. 14, 1955, the son of David D. and Nonie Heed Vigren, he was a graduate of Paul D. Schreiber High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from East Carolina University.

Mr. Vigren is survived by his sister, Helen M. Diehl, of Callicoon, NY; his brother, John C. Vigren, of Hope, NJ; and nephews, Benjamin T. Laird, Nicholas J. Vitulli, David J. Vitulli, and John M. Vitulli.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Christopher James Vigren will be held Saturday, January 25, at 3 p.m. at the Roche Funeral Home. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
