12th Zoller Golf Classic Swings Into Action

The Joseph C. Zoller Memorial Fund held its 12th Annual Golf Classic at the Sands Point Golf Club on July 18. This event supports the scholarship fund established at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education in Joseph Zoller’s name. Guests enjoyed a great day of golf culminating with a lavish cocktail hour, raffles, a silent auction and a fabulous dinner.

Rodger Van Allen, director of Development for Professional Schools at Fordham University, was recognized for his dedication and support of Joe’s foundation. He spoke about this scholarship giving young people the chance to further their education on their path to becoming teachers. This year’s scholarship recipient, Kristen Guzman, was introduced. She gave a very moving speech about the educational opportunity this scholarship has provided her. Everyone agreed that this was another memorable event the celebrated Joe’s life. The Zoller family is grateful to the community for consistently supporting Joe’s foundation.
